A truly great healthcare organization must rely on a partnership with the communities it serves.

Normal operating revenues sustain the status quo of a healthcare organization, but cannot fund new or expanded services or major renovations. Such progress always has come and must continue to come, in part, from donations.

 

You are cordially invited to join a group of individuals who will have a profound impact on our communities and carry forward the traditions of excellence in healthcare through philanthropy. Northeast Health Foundation has established the Partnership for Philanthropy to honor our generous friends, and to celebrate the power of giving in our lives and throughout the region.

 

Leadership giving is vitally important to any philanthropy program. In most institutions, ninety percent of all charitable donations come from only ten percent of the donors. While fewer in number, leadership gifts have a profound impact on an organization and its donors, providing the wherewithal to nurture growth, dreams and vision. Partnership for Philanthropy was created to:

 

• Strengthen and enhance the ties between our donors, the causes they care most about, and our health care institutions.
• Express our heartfelt thanks to our donors for their leadership support, and to demonstrate the importance of ongoing philanthropy to the future of healthcare.
• Publicly recognize leadership donors in unique ways and, in turn, encourage others to follow in their footsteps.
• Create opportunities for leadership giving to our annual fund.
• Assist Partnership members and their families with health information, referrals, and access to services when the need arises.
• Provide useful information and ongoing communications to donors.

 

Leadership Giving - All those who donate $1,000 or more in a calendar year are acknowledged with a series of honors, privileges and invitations and appear in our annual listing of major donors. 

Partnership for Philanthropy -- Leadership Giving Levels
• Steward - One-time or cumulative giving of 50,000+ per year
• Partner - One-time or cumulative giving of $25,000 to $49,999 per year
• Regent -- One-time or cumulative giving of $10,000 to $24,999 per year
• Benefactor -- One-time or cumulative giving of $5,000 to $9,999 per year
• Patron -- One-time or cumulative giving of $2,500 to $4,999 per year
• Leader -- One-time or cumulative giving of $1,000 to $2,499 per year

 

The Founders Society - All who donate $2,500 or more in a calendar year receive Leadership Giving benefits and membership in The Founders Society. Founders Society membership includes a complimentary service that can help you access the services of our healthcare system. You will receive a special card that contains a phone number to access Foundation staff who will be on call to assist you, to answer questions, or to listen to your concerns.

 

The Heritage Society - The Heritage Society recognizes those who include Northeast Health Foundation or any affiliate of Northeast Health System in their will or estate plan. Such gifts include bequests, gift annuities, remainder trusts, lead trusts and other planned gifts.

 

Founders Lifetime Membership recognizes cumulative gifts of $100,000 or more. Membership benefits include those mentioned above, perpetual membership in The Founders Society and permanent listing on a special plaque display located at our hospitals. Lifetime members will be recognized in the following categories:

Platinum Membership $1,000,000 or more
Gold Membership $500,000 to $999,000
Silver Membership $250,000 to $499,000
Bronze Membership $100,000 to $249,000

Partnership for Philanthropy Membership Benefits

 

Your leadership contribution will be recognized in unique and personal ways by the organization to which your gift is directed, and by Northeast Health Foundation. All leadership donors will be invited to attend an annual Celebration of Philanthropy. In addition, we will provide you with publications, invite you to attend educational programs, and invite you to call if you have any question or if you need assistance in obtaining health services. Finally, there are plaques, endowments and other naming opportunities that offer a variety of ways to create a permanent legacy for you and your family.

 

All donors who qualify for Leadership Giving, The Founders Society, The Heritage Society or Founders Lifetime Membership will be recognized in the annual listing of Society members and will receive a special invitation to the annual donor recognition event. Donors will also receive periodic reports on health system programs.
